About me:
As a teen, I have always been drawn to reading the Bible. As I grew older and I was faced with the many obstacles of life, my mind always wandered back to what I read in my teen years. I would then recieve a revelation and through the Word of God I was able to overcome obstacles. In college, I grew distant from the Lord. I still acknowledged Him as Lord and savior l, but my lifestyle was not in accordance to what He wanted.
I never fitted in with the popular culture, and I always felt a tugging at my heart. I acknowledged it. I got baptized in college. Although the college environment wasn't ideal, for a newly saved young person, it was a step in the right direction. I graduated college and became more in tuned with Christ. I got my dream job, but still I felt incomplete. As a member of the body of Christ I didn't know where I fit in, or what my function in the body was supposed to be. I had always read many excerpts from the bible and received revelation from the Holy Spirit. I shared my findings with friends and family and they were blessed by it. This was my gift from God.
In 1st Corinthians chapter 12, the apostle talks about the many gifts given out to the people through the Holy Spirit. Not only does he name them, he says they are for the benefit of the body of Christ. I have been blessed with the ability of knowledge of the scripture. I'm grateful for this, and with this gift I intend to decipher some texts for the benefit of you (the body). I hope that you will be blessed through what God has revealed to me. I have found my place in the body, and I intend to function the way God wants me to.
